This is a wine of great varietal authenticity, where soil and microclimate reach their highest expression, with a marked minerality and saline notes.
Pampered selection of the vines to obtain the maximum genuineness of the variety. The grounds are predominantly sandy grounds.
Overall, it has been a fairly warm and dry year that left a rainfall percentage of 26%, below the expected climate value.
The summer season was generally warm and relatively dry during the months of June and July. However, in August, though the temperatures matched the predictions, unexpected heavy rainfall caused a high risk of botrytis for the grapes. Normality, both with regards to temperature and rainfall percentage, came in September.
Manual grape harvest in boxes of 15 kg. The grapes are destemmed and subjected to a soft press. The grape-juice obtained is let to settle and slightly debourbage. The spontaneous fermentation is carried under controlled temperatures in stainless tanks. Then, the devatting is performed and the thinnest lees are dissolved. The wine stands on the lees for 3 months prior to decanting, filtering and bottling.
Appearance: Bright and clean yellow straw-coloured with golden highlights.
Nose: Highlight the aromas of the variety with hints of citrus and alga.
Taste: Fresh and intense. Mineral aftertaste, vibrant acidity and salinity that, along with the carbonic remains, make the wine fresh and young without being aggressive.
