Vineyard
Selection of the vineyards closest to the winery to obtain the maximum typicity of the variety, located in a wooded area and close to the Umia river, with 35 year old vines and soils predominantly sandy.
Climatology
Warm year in terms of average temperature, with an anomaly of +0.2 ºC, and humid, with precipitations 15% above normal. They had a special impact the temperatures of February (warmer than expected, causing a premature sprouting that suffered in later months with the cold) and June (colder than normal, which caused the appearance of mildew).
Production
Manual grape harvest in boxes of 15 kg. The grapes are destemmed and subjected to a soft press. The grape-juice obtained is let settled and debourbage. The spontaneous fermentation is done under controlled temperature in stainless tanks. Then, the devatting is done and the thinnest lees are dissolved. It is let stand on them during 6
months prior to decanting, filtering and bottling.
Tasting notes
Appearance: Limpid and deep straw yellow, with greenish reflections.
Nose: Highlight typical aromas of the variety with citrus recalls, green fruit and stone fruit.
Taste: Deep and fresh. Great amplitude, fleshy, lively acidity and persistent final.
